Kick-off meeting

On March 27–28, the SET-PED project was officially launched during a two-day event held in Bucharest, Romania.

Representatives from partner organizations in Romania, Italy, and Sweden convened to initiate a joint effort aimed at developing integrated strategies that align neighborhood-scale building renovation, localized energy systems, and regenerative, bio-based urban furniture. This initiative will be implemented through a co-creation process within the framework of Positive Energy Districts (PEDs).

The project will be piloted in three locations — Bucharest Sector 6, Eskilstuna, and Mascalucia — each serving as a model for advancing sustainable, energy-positive urban development.
